Job Description field As a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Windows desktop applications that support medical technologies. This role partners with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to deliver scalable, maintainable, and compliant software solutions that meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities • Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications with hardware integration capabilities. • Participate in software architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and support product development initiatives. • Develop and execute software testing and debugging activities to identify, analyze, and resolve defects. • Create and maintain technical documentation to support regulatory compliance, product development, and business requirements. • Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, design, development, verification, release, deployment, and post-release support. • Apply Agile development methodologies and software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, software quality, and development efficiency. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 8 to 12 years of software development experience, including Windows desktop application development. • 6+ years of experience designing and developing Windows desktop applications using C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and related Windows technologies. • Experience developing graphical user interface (GUI) applications and integrating software with hardware devices. • Experience with object-oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, and application design patterns. • Experience working within Agile software development environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry subject to quality and regulatory requirements. • Experience with networking and communication protocols used in distributed software systems. • Knowledge of software security practices, risk analysis, and secure software development methodologies. • Experience supporting products through the complete software development lifecycle. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
